Specter Rapid (6), is at river mile 129.7. The scout for this rapid is on the debris fan on river left. There is an easy pull-in in the eddy just above the fan. A schist island in the middle of the river is normally passed on the left. Below this, the current is moving toward the right wall, and rebounding off that wall. There is a large hole in the middle of the upper section of the rapid. It is best to split the difference between the right side of this hole and the right wall. At water levels above 20,000 cfs there is a cheat run left of this hole.
