Fossil Camp at river mile 125.4 is on river left and has an easy pull-in. At low water, there is a boulder pile just downstream of the landing. This minimally used large camp is far enough above Fossil Rapid to be a quiet camp. Hiking access to Fossil Canyon is easy. This is a hot summer camp, with winter sun.
